GRADE SCHOOL

Classes from Grade 1 to 3 are self-contained classrooms. This means that a specially trained education teacher is responsible for the instruction of all academic subjects. We believe that children at these ages learn better when they do not have to relate to more than one teacher. The instructional setting of self-contained classrooms also provides a more individualized approach in teaching and learning. The Islamic Education and
Arabic language classes are handled by an ustada or ustadh.

Classes for Grades 4 to 6 are specialized instruction classrooms. Teachers with specific subject specialization are responsible for the teaching and learning processes. Grades 5 and 6 classrooms are single-gender sections – one section for female, one section for male students – thus making the learning more
conducive and localized for the students.
