Last Monday, November 4, 2024, our school Asia Academic Integrated School Inc. (AAIS), represented by its Management Committee members and led by Nafisah Radiamoda, visited the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF). The team was warmly received by BMCA Acting Director Atty. Michael Mito-on J. Ali and Madrasah Division Chief Jurhana Dimaampao.
It is an honor to be appreciated by Director Ali noting that it is one of the few Madaris that meets DepEd requirements. He stated that the school could serve as a model for other Madaris, particularly as the BMCA-Madrasah Division plans to carry out assessments in the first quarter of next year.
Afterward, Director Ali accompanied the AAIS team to meet with Secretary Sabuddin Abdurahim, where they were given the chance to provide a more detailed explanation of their goals and achievements. Secretary Abdurahim praised AAIS for its successes, highlighting that schools that integrate Islamic teachings with academic curricula are rare, especially in Metro Manila.
Also present at the meeting were Limpi Macapundag, Bin Amin Balt, and Nurol Mortaba from the Madrasah Division.
